跨文化“心”相连|来华留学生团体辅导活动第四期

   10月26日晚,由ICEV跨文化交流志愿者实践团和大学生心理健康教育中心联合主办的来华留学生团体辅导活动第四期——“跨文化 “心” 相连:从破冰识友到携手向未来”主题活动顺利开展。本次活动吸引了众多国际学生的积极参与,通过趣味盎然的互动活动消融文化壁垒,解锁在华生活的新体验,为校园跨文化交流注入了鲜活的动力。 On the evening of October 26th, the fourth session of the group counseling activity for international students in China, titled Cross-Cultural "Heart" Bonding: From Ice-Breaking & Friend-Making to Moving Toward the Future Hand in Hand was successfully held. The event was jointly organized by the Intercultural Communication & Engagement Volunteers and the University Mental Health Center. It attracted a large number of international students who actively participated in engaging interactive activities designed to melt cultural barriers and unlock new experiences of living in China. The event injected fresh vitality into cross-cultural communication on campus.

  

  活动以四大环节层层推进,兼顾趣味性与实际性。在“文化特色接龙”环节,由主持人田湘玫向国际学生们介绍环节规则,开启“自我介绍链条”:先完整复述前一位同学的姓名、国籍及文化特色,再分享自己的相关信息。这一环节不仅让现场快速升温,更成为不同文化碰撞的一个窗口,让参与者在记忆与表达中初步感知各国文化亮点。 The event unfolded through four thoughtfully designed stages, balancing engagement and practicality. In the "Cultural Trait Chain" segment, host Tian Xiangmei introduced the rules to the international students and kick-started a "self-introduction chain": each participant was required to fully reiterate the name, nationality, and cultural characteristic of the previous student before sharing their own information. This session not only quickly warmed up the atmosphere but also served as a microcosm of cultural exchange, allowing participants to perceive cultural highlights from different countries through memory and expression.

 在随后的“文化密钥你问我答”环节,我们聚焦实际需求,助力解决文化适应难题。通过问题纸条的设问,留学生们围绕在华生活中遇到的困惑展开讨论,再与志愿者共同梳理应对方法。在讨论结束后,幸运小组上台分享自己的解决方案,将“问题探讨”转化为“经验共享”,为更多留学生提供可借鉴的生活与文化适应思路。 The subsequent segment, "Cultural Passcode: Q&A Session," focused on practical needs to help address cultural adaptation challenges. Through questions written on slips of paper, international students discussed perplexities encountered in their daily lives in China, and then worked with volunteers to identify coping strategies. After the discussions, selected groups took the stage to share their solutions, transforming "problem exploration" into "experience sharing" and providing actionable insights for more international students navigating life and cultural adaptation.

其后的“压力释放与未来约定”环节则兼顾心理健康与成长规划。在“气球爆破减压”环节,同学们将学业、社交等个人压力通过绘画、书写的方式记录在气球上,共同倒计时后集体爆破,以轻松、解压的方式释放情绪。

The subsequent segment, "Stress Release and Future Commitments," integrated mental well-being with personal growth planning. During the "Balloon Bursting for Stress Relief" activity, participants visually recorded their academic, social, and personal pressures by drawing or writing on balloons. Following a collective countdown, the balloons were popped  simultaneously, releasing these tensions in a lighthearted and therapeutic manner.

最后的“未来寄语”环节中,每一位参与者都满怀深情地拿起笔,将自己的学术目标、个人成长期望以及充满鼓舞人心的话语倾注于纸上。这些寄语不仅是对自己未来方向的明确规划,更是对在华生活的一种积极态度的体现,它们如同明灯一般,照亮了每个人前行的道路,为他们的在华生活注入了源源不断的动力和热情。 In the final "Messages to the Future" segment, each participant thoughtfully picked up a pen to pour their academic goals, personal growth aspirations, and inspiring words onto paper. These messages not only served as clear blueprints for their future paths but also reflected a positive attitude toward life in China. Like guiding lights, they illuminated the way forward for everyone, infusing their experience in China with continuous motivation and enthusiasm.

此次团辅活动旨在搭建跨文化交流平台,帮助国际学生缓解适应压力、建立更为广泛的社交连接。活动结束后,中外学生也进一步友好交流并交换联系方式。未来,ICEV跨文化交流志愿者实践团还将持续开展类似活动,推动校园多元文化融合。 This group counseling session aimed to establish a cross-cultural exchange platform, helping international students ease adaptation stress and build broader social connections. Following the event, Chinese and international students further engaged in friendly interactions and exchanged contact information. Moving forward, the Intercultural Communication & Engagement Volunteers will continue to organize similar activities to promote multicultural integration on campus.
